Break Open Tickets have been an important source of Charitable Revenue for many years in the Province of Ontario. There are three main channels of delivery in the Province being, Gaming Centres, Owned Premises (for example - Canadian Legion clubs) and Retail stores (for example - Variety shops). This product still generates over three hundred million dollars per year ($C300m) and delivers an estimated thirty eight million dollars to local Charity Groups.

The Break Open Ticket or Pull-tabs are extremely easy to play. Just remove the perforated windows on the front of the ticket and match a predetermined winning combination that is displayed on the reverse of the ticket.
